DOCTOR PUP 10 YEAR REPLACEMENT WARRANTY
The puppy you have selected is warranted by us to the original purchaser to be healthy at the time of purchase. In accordance with the above, We also warranty your puppy to be free from Parvo Virus, Distemper, Hepatitis, Corona Virus, for 10 days from the day of arrival. Should your veterinarian detect any of the above mentioned diseases within the 10 day period immediately following your purchase, you must notify us within twenty four hours (740-809-3074).
In the case that a Hereditary or Congenital issue arises Premier Pups will cover 100% of your deductible and your entire Co-pay as long as you are registered with Doctor Pup and have enrolled in PetPlan Pet insurance. If the issue is not able to be corrected we will also offer a replacement puppy at no cost. The best part about our program is PetPlan insurance allows for you to use the vet of your choice! If you chose to decline PetPlan insurance but remain enrolled in Doctor Pup; Premier Pups will provide a replacement puppy at no cost. In order to qualify for deductible and co-pay medical cash reimbursement you must be enrolled in PetPlan Insurance.
We need your cooperation. You must take responsibility for your pet. Our warranty stipulates that you must have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 7 days of taking possession. (PLEASE NO VACCINES UNTIL SECOND VISIT.) After reviewing the records we have provided and evaluating your puppy, your veterinarian will provide a schedule of the remaining preventative care steps. Do not put off this initial vet visit.
Remember that we have been monitoring your puppy's health daily. A new home, new food, and new people are all stressful. These stresses can lead to rapid changes in your puppy's general health. Seeking advice from Doctor Pup and your veterinarian will help reduce the risks.

Some problems do not become apparent until later in your puppy's development. This can happen with any puppy regardless of breed, sex, or genetic background. These issues are some of the hardest to understand and accept. We want you to know that we will be here to help should something like a congenital or hereditary disorder arise within the guarantee period. We will help, provided you have been responsible in your duties as a pet owner.
In order to validate your replacement guarantee, you must keep the puppy under regular and continued care of a licensed veterinarian and remain an active member of Doctorpup.com. In order to qualify for Hereditary & Congenital cash medical reimbursement ($300 deductible & 100% of Co-Pay) you must remain insured through PetPlan from the time of purchase. Maintaining a relationship with Doctor Pup and your local vet will provide an education that is the foundation for a healthy, happy puppy. Failure to comply with the above will result in immediate termination of your replacement puppy guarantee. We will extend your replacement puppy guarantee as well as your PetPlan cash medical reimbursement up to 10 years as long as you remain a member of Doctorpup.com and continue recommended care with your local vet.

PRESCRIPTION REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM
We offer prescription reimbursement based on certain symptoms if detected within 14 days of arrival.
Cough/respiratory – 10 days Azithromycin, 10 days Baytril
Giardia – Up To 5 days of Drontal plus (the reason we will not cover panacur and metronidozale is because you have just given those meds to your puppy via the preventative meds program. If a giardia positive fecal remains we require Drontal Plus to be used)
Follow Up Giardia Test – Direct Smear or centrifugation (Drontal Plus must be used in order to cover the follow up fecal)
In order to receive reimbursement, one of the above must be the first choice prescribed by your vet.
This means if a drug such as Clavomox is given first for a cough, we will not cover the cost of any medications after that choice.
This means for giardia, if metronidozale and panacur are provided, we will not cover the cost.
This means if your follow up giardia fecal test is an Eliza test, it will not be covered.
The reason behind our prescription reimbursement program is to pay for what gets the job done in the quickest most effective manner. Our goal is to treat something one time successfully. Our team of vets have determined these prescriptions are the most direct and effective way to correct the above mentioned issues (by no means is this implying your dog will have an issue). Our goal is to educate you on what we will reimburse, in the case that one of these minor irritations occur. Simply email a receipt showing the initial vet visit, which shows prescription cost, to email@example.com
- Luxating patellas, OCD, legg-calve-perthes disease and hip dysplasia disease are not covered in full unless detected within the first 30 days and notated by your veterinarian at that time. After 30 days Premier Pups will cover up to 50% of the correction cost or up to the pup price per the invoice whichever is lower. Customer must be an active member of Doctor Pup and the correction must be authorized via the Doctor Pup service.
- Allergies, Auto Immune: Both Allergies and Auto Immune issues can have some genetic component. Premier Pups considers these conditions to be expected in some percentage of every living creature. We will cover up to 50% of the puppy price for buth Auto Immune and Allergy related issues that require treatment and approval is received throuhg the Doctor Pup service.
- If your puppy has a suspected liver shunt based on bile acid results Dr Rybka via the Doctor Pup service must be involved in decisions related to further diagnostics. Cash reimbursement would be limited to 50% of the puppy price.
- X-rays related to a cough unless it is needed due to an ongoing & persistent irritation. Consult with Doctor Pup for approval.
WE DO NOT COVER:
- The genetic conditions we do not cover are: teeth related issue (unless they are inhibiting the puppies ability to live a normal life as determined by Dr Pup) retained testicles, cherry eyes. These conditions are common and can be fixed easily when the puppy is spayed or neutered. We feel it puts too much stress on the puppy to have any of the above procedures performed at a young age.
- Diagnostics related to grade 1 or 2 heart (murmurs most are transient and represent no threat to your puppy).

*IN THE CASE OF SUDDEN DEATH, WE REQUIRE A NECROPSY TO BE PREFORMED IN ORDER TO FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM. AS A COURTESY, PREMIER PUPS WILL OFFER A 50% DISCOUNT OFF THE PURCHASE OF A NEW PUPPY (UP TO $1500) IF YOU ARE UNABLE OR CHOOSE NOT TO GET AN NECROPSY PREFORMED.
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT WARRANTY CLAIMS FROM BANFIELD PET HOSPITALS (BANFIELD IS ASSOCIATED WITH PETSMART PET SUPPLIES) OR VCA PET HOSPITALS. WE MADE THIS DECISION BECAUSE BOTH CLINICS LISTED OVERCHARGE CLIENTS AS WELL AS TAKE UNNECESSARY PRECAUTIONS IN ORDER TO DRIVE ADDITIONAL INCOME FOR THE CLINIC. ALL OTHER PET HOSPITALS ARE ACCEPTED. IF YOU CARRY INSURANCE PET INSURANCE THIS RESTRICTION IS LIFTED.
IF YOU LIVE 40 MILES OR LESS FROM BETHEL ANIMAL HOSPITAL (LOCATED IN CENTRAL OHIO) WE REQUIRE YOU TO TAKE THE PUPPY TO THEIR CLINIC FOR ANY WARRANTY RELATED ISSUES. OTHERWISE VET BILLS INCURRED WILL BE REIMBURSED AT BETHEL ANIMAL HOSPITAL RATES.
No cash refunds. Your warranty offers a replacement puppy of equal or less value if you are a Doctor Pup member. In the case of Hereditary or Congenital issue that can be corrected we will provide cash medical reimbursement up to the price paid for the puppy (not including extras: shipping, etc.) as long as you are enrolled in PetPlan Insurance at the time of purchase.

Jurisdiction Clause - Any civil action against Premier Pups must be filed within the state of Ohio.
